Christ was brought into this world for one reason: to die for you, for your sins. For God so loved the world. You. There is nothing you can do to make him love you more, there is nothing you can do to make him love you less. The Jesus we picture on Christmas is a small, holy infant wrapped snugly in cloth. Let us not forget the big picture: Christ, the King of Kings who sits on a throne in Heaven being worshiped (Revelations 4), gave us the only gift we will ever need. One can either accept the gift or decline. I don’t know about you, but I took it.
